Get a New Start on a Great Hobby!

        About Indoor Reef

      Employee Biographies

      Paul & Tim (Owners)
Originally the dream of “Indoor Reef” was for our retirement. However, with the decline of the tech industry and a a great retail location opening up, well 2003 looked like as good a year as any. So with tons of help from all our friends we made a go of it. Having done Saltwater fish as a hobby for almost 15 plus years we were uniquely qualified to realize how much more we still had to learn. So we continue to grow and endeavor to provide you the best products from around the world!

        Practical Reef De-Nitrator

      What a denitrator can do!
Now you can drop your nitrate level down to undetectable levels (0ppm) and keep them there. Eliminate water changes. If you do monthly water changes to reduce nitrates, you can never totally eliminate nitrates from your tank. If you have a large bio-load these water changes are even more important and difficult to perform. Most people have good intentions but don’t have the time to mix water and change large quantities religiously. The results are a see-saw effect on the nitrate level which is not found in natural systems. The water in most cities is barely fit for human consumption, forget about delicate corals and fish. Some city water supplies contain nitrate to begin with.

Water covers 3/4ths of the earth's surface, the one common food is the phytoplankton that starts the marine food web. Now saltwater hobbyists can feed a nutritionally sound and storable phytoplankton feed to start the dynamic of a marine food web in a captive environment.
